Summary

Welcome to the Mayan pyramids. Silver and the Pack have been hired to protect the pyramids from grave robbers and looters. As they descend deeper into the bowels of the pyramids, they are ambushed by the grave robbers. Naturally, a fight promptly ensues. During the fight, BattleStar activates a booby trap and the ceiling lowers on the room they're in. The floor opens up and they slide into a pool of water. There, they are taken by Mayans. Being outfited in authentic Mayan garb, they are brought before the Mayan court. Apparently, they are now in the ancient Mayan Empire via some weird time warp. The Mayan leader decried that since they were intruders, they would be given trial by combat. During most of the fight, Silver is struggling with inner doubts about killing. As the contest continues, Sandman transforms into one of the Mayan statues, and then "comes to life." As the Mayans panic at the site of living stature, Silver and the Pack make a break for it. They figure they need to follow the same path back in order to return to their present. They make it back and as they leave, one panel shows that on the pyramid, there are carvings of Silver and the fight. On the last page, Silver returns to New York, and then... gets arrested!?!?
