Issue #7, December 1992 Continued from Issue #6. Silver and Deathlok are face to face to Cathode, who shows off a little of her power. Of course, Silver forces the action, but Cathode disappears leaving her stooges to handle the two. Meanwhile, the Wild Pack are detained in a glass container of some sort, where a little character development takes place. Cut away to Sandman, who is on leave, and meeting with a group called the Next Wave. A group that is trying to enlist Sandman into their roster. Back in the Grand Canyon, Silver dispatchs Cathode's goons, while Deathlok, searches for the Wild Pack. He discovers them in a minature state, due to the transportation device. Deathlok finds a way to restore the Wild Pack to regular size and Silver enters into a confrontation with Cathode. The fight is a good one, as usual, but Cathode activates a self destruct sequence on her base. Everyone bails out, and Deathlok is able to use one of those transportation devices to rescue the Statue of Liberty and the other stolen items, and escapes with Silver at the last possible moment. |
