Issue #12, May 1993 Continued from Issue #11. Onboard the stolen, and sinking, mobile battlestation, the fight rages on between the Cyberwarriors and the Wild Pack, with "assistance" from the Next Wave. As the Next Wave takes out the Cyberwarriors, Sandman begins to question his new assocition with them. As the fight comes to an end, Battle Star saves the life of Powell. Powell is surprised at Battle Star's actions since Powell's racist views were well known. Silver and the Pack begin the chase after the Cyberwarriors that were dispatched to Wundargore Mountain. Siege is there and takes out a number of Cyberwarriors, while the Knights of Wundargore join in the conflict. The Next Wave arrive at this fight as well, and at Silver's directive, Sandman incapacitates one of the Cyberwarriors. Quentino is able to reprogram the Cyberwarrior and via remote control, shuts down the others as well. Siege destroys the inactive Cyberwarriors. Sandman leaves the Next Wave and asks Silver if he can rejoin the Pack. He does. Starting this month (in the same comic), Marvel's top mercenary reveals her formitive years for the first time, in a segment called: Silver Sable: Early Tales
Silver Sable: Early Tales Continued from last issue. Silver continues her drive for Trefkov. While she kills the men who killed members of her Pack, Trefkov escapes by boat, and the remaining Pack members follow. Silver finds her own boat and follows them both, she catches up to see the rest of her team, killed by a bazooka blast from Trefkov. Silver catches up to Trefkov, and they stuggle before their boat hits a buoy and Silver is thrown overboard. Silver watches as Trefkov speeds away. At that point, Silver knows she will completely commit herself to follow in her father's footsteps. |
