Issue #11, April 1993 The issue begins at Castle Sable with Silver posing for a photo shoot. Her new beau Jacques is there. Silver is alerted to the discovery of the cyberwarriors that were stolen for the Genesis Coalition, and assembles the Wild Pack. En route to the Coalition mobile aquatic battle station, they rendevous with Stingray (of the Avengers). Once they reach the station, Silver and the Pack encounter a variety of goons that they easily dispatch. Meanwhile, Sandman and the Next Wave are on the way to the same station to recapture it for HYDRA. The Next Wave is comprised of Agent X, Snare, Turk, Sandman, and "Fin" (this coincidentally being Fin's first appearance). The Next Wave infiltrates the station as well, and runs into the Wild Pack, and they both face off against Cyberwarriors. The story cuts off with Sandman taking a blast for Silver (he's alright, being made of sand and all) and Silver is more than a little upset about Sandman and his new associates jumping into the Pack's mission. Silver Sable: Early Tales The first Early Tale picks up where Silver's story of how her father died in Issue #9 left off. Trefkov has escaped, and took with him the body of Silver's father. Silver took charge and ordered the Wild Pack to persue Trefkov and the remaining goons. One of her Pack had tried to warn her how the 6 of them would not have a chance against the enemy who had reinforcements on the way. Silver disregarded that, and eventually walked right into a trap that killed most of her men. To be continued in the next issue. |
