Issue #18, November 1993 Silver's mad. The Wild Pack tried to capture Venom and an out-of-control Human Torch and failed on both attempts. She is giving them one more chance to capture Venom or face being replaced as her "A" team. Silver then makes an appearance on Donahue, where she tactfully explains her role as a mercenary, to a receptive crowd. Few pages later, Venom is sighted in San Francisco and Silver and the Pack arrive at the scene. A hefty battle ensues. Sandman is keeping Venom occupied while the others blast him with sonic guns. The blast incapacitates Venom and apparently disintergrates Sandman. Everything thinks that Sandman is surely gone, but he pulls together and is back to normal. Just then, a thick black mist comes out of no where and engulfs everyone. To be continued in Issue #19
Silver Sable: Early Tales Continued from last issue, and as seen in Amazing Spider-Man #281. It looks like Silver and Spider-Man were down for the count to the Sinister Syndicate, but out of nowhere, Sandman arrives on the scene. This was the first time Silver met Sandman. The Sandman attack gives Silver and Spidey a chance to regroup and go back on the offensive. The Syndicate took a beating and fell back, but Silver, Spidey and Sandman, wouldn't have stood a chance if the Syndicate renewed their attack. They didn't, obviously unaware of how injured Spidey truly was. The final page shows Silver offering Sandman a spot in Silver Sable International. |
